Jill Brzezicki - Singer/Songwriter
Jill Brzezicki (pronounced Brrrr-Zit-Ski) began playing music in the 5th grade. Jill’s earliest musical memories consist of singing “my name is Michael” in front of her mom’s bridge ladies along with incessantly listening to the Beatles White album. In 2000 Jill formed the "Damn Straps", an all girl folk band that played regionally in Northern Colorado and had the pleasure of opening for former Kingston Trio member John Stewart. The band dissolved in 2004 and Jill began to work on a solo career. Jill attended the Colorado Contemporary Music College in Fort Collins Colorado in 2004 and graduated with a diploma in performance and education. Jill released her debut full length solo CD “Consequence of Truth” in 2007 and is currently working on her second full length CD “The Horizon”. As a solo singer/songwriter Jill has enjoyed playing with Coyote Grace, Camille Bloom, Zoe Lewis, Ellis and other nationally touring musicians. Jill has attended the Rocky Mountain Song School for the past four years and has had the pleasure of meeting and working with artists such as Melissa Ferrick, Girlyman, Joe Craven, Mary Gauthier and vocal coach Ron Browning. Jill enjoys subsidizing her live shows with teaching guitar in Windsor Colorado and also owns a small sound business called Resonate. You can learn more about Jill on the Internet via these links:
